Sam McCurdy is a director of photography on Netflix's Lost in Space.

McCurdy is an international and award-winning cinematographer. Born in the UK, he studied photography and design at Durham College before starting a career in the film industry. His work was most recently seen at the London Film Festival opening movie A UNITED KINGDOM for 20th Century Fox and soon to be seen on the upcoming Amazon series Britannia.
His list of credits has varied through the years from dark and brooding thrillers and horrors (THE DEVILS DOUBLE, DOG SOLDIERS) right through to up-tempo dance movies and period romance (STREETDANCE 1and 2, The Game, EMPEROR). He shares a long-standing working relationship with director Neil Marshall on the multi-award-winning series Game of Thrones and THE DESCENT.
Sam currently lives in London...some of the time.
